In creating the YUCK font, the creative process was driven by the unattractive aspects of childhood memories. Inspired by the unappealing connotations of dirty green liquids disliked by children, and generally unpleasant objects that evoke disgust. This font aims to encapsulate the essence of disgust.
With this zine, we aim to transform the repulsive into evidence of the transformative power of design, turning something initially repulsive into thought-provoking artistic media.
